minor League Ball: Baseball America's List of Minor League Park Effects

不意外, ABQ打爽爽沒有用, 有興趣的人可去查Tim Federowicz的主客場splits, 這也是我覺得之前BA列他top 10根本是個笑話的原因.

Madboy,
I did a preliminary assessment of the CPBL's hitting competitiveness level using your fake park factors. Check it out.

For 2012 and 2013, I just used the 2011 numbers. Used Sinon for EDA.

I apologize for the comments pending my mailbox approval before publishing due to previous spams attacking.

Thanks for appreciating my old work. However, I suggest maybe you could use La New's "fake park factor" for EDA in 2013. Because EDA Rhinos took the Kaohsiung stadium previousely used by the La New Bears in 2004 ~ 2010, (by abandoning Taichung, a very old and relatively small ballpark). As La New not only did rename themselves Lamingo, but moved to Taoyuan international stadium in 2011 as well.

Cheng-ching Lake Baseball Field(in Kaohsiung, aka the new Kaohsiung Stadium), use by La New in 2004 ~ 2010, and then EDA in 2013.

Taichung Baseball Field (aka the old Taichung Stadium), mostly used by Sinon

Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium (aka the new Taichung Stadium), mostly used by Sinon

Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium, use by Lamigo in 2011 ~ 2013.

Thanks for the correction. Based on Lamigo playing in Taoyuan, I think it'd be better if I were to calculate 2012-13 myself.

Now your 2011 factors, I assume are two-year averages. Do you have raw figures for 2011?

I'm sorry. Well, actually the main reason why I didn't do the 2012 "fake park factor" work was that my hard disk drive crashed at the time (and my laziness that I didn't save the whole data back XD).

But I'm pretty sure the 2011 Lamigo Monkey's "fake park factor" is a raw data. Because they just moved to Taoyuan that year.

No need to be sorry, thanks for you hard work.

Madboy,
It pains me to report that the CPBL is less competitive than double-A, at least hitting. Here is the finished product.

Great work!

I think I'm OK with the result since that Clay Davenport of Baseball Prospectus also published the same result before 2006 WBC.

Most of my baseball blogger friends also known that and regard CPBL as a A+ league since then.

Actually CPBL is a league that consists of various players skilling from somewhere between Rookie Leagues to AA or AAA (in particular years). So the average of CPBL being a A+ Lg is probably the right answer.
