Tracy had Milton Bradley lay down a sacrifice bunt, and Jeff Kent was intentionally walked to load the bases. Saenz followed with a grounder to shortstop Abraham Nunez, and that was that.

Tracy was asked afterward about the decision to have Bradley bunt.

"What if he grounds into a double play?" he said. "With those two professional guys (Saenz and Jose Valentin) coming to the plate, you take your chances."

Said Bradley: "I don't think I'd hit into a double play. I'd either hit or strike out."

又一次，証明Tracy的腦內印象是錯誤的。Bradley後面那兩位職業選手Valentin(0.13)、Saenz(3.60)都較Bradley更容易打成雙殺打，Saenz甚至是躲人雙殺打好手。

Kent、Saenz屬於腳程較慢的選手，較易打成GIDP看起來挺合理的，但Izzy也未免太容易打雙殺打了點，此外那個Phillips的機會真的多到有點讓人不爽......
